    The first photo has been released from Alexander Skarsgård’s gay drama Pillion, in which he plays the dom to Harry Melling’s sub. The debut feature from Harry Lighton (Wren Boys), the film will chronicle the romance between Collin (Melling), a “weedy wallflower letting life pass him by” who becomes the submissive of Ray (Skarsgård), “the impossibly handsome leader of a motorbike club”.

    Netflix’s upcoming Pride and Prejudice series has found its Elizabeth Bennett. This week, it was announced that non-binary icon Emma Corrin has been cast in the lead role alongside Olivia Colman as Mrs. Bennett and Jack Lowden as Mr. Darcy. The series, which will run for a limited six episodes, is reportedly a “faithful” adaptation of Jane Austen’s 1813 novel. It is set to be directed by Heartstopper’s Euros Lyn and written by Everything I Know About Love author Dolly Alderton.

From the Royal Shakespeare Company and Playful Productions, the “smart, sexy and irreverent” story from Liz Duffy Adams will chronicle the rivalry between the two literary icons as they’re “forced to collaborate on a new play” against the “backdrop of espionage, religious persecution and paranoia”.

    Following its virality on Gay Twitter earlier this year,we’re getting closer to a theatrical release date for Twinless. According to Variety, the upcoming LGBTQIA+ comedy-drama is “in final negotiations to sell” to Roadside Attractions, Lionsgate and Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions. If all goes to plan, Twinless is expected to hit cinemas “later this summer”.

    Sad news: it seems Bob the Drag Queen will never return to RuPaul’s Drag Race as a competitor. In the latest episode of Boyfriend Material, host Harry Jowsey asked the season eight champion if he “would go back to RuPaul”, to which Bob replied, “I think I’m good.”“I won already. Also, going to All Stars is, no shade, but that’s for losers. Go back to when you lost and I won,” said Bob, before acknowledging the franchise’s first-ever All-Winners season in 2022, which he was not invited back for.
