In wake of the news that Rockstar is delaying the newest entry in the blockbuster Grand Theft Auto franchise, the developers have now released the second official trailer…randomly on a Tuesday. The trailer shows off a lot more about the game’s world, characters and story for us to sink our teeth into. For starters our main – and most likely playable – characters are Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos.

Rockstar Games revealed today that the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI has been delayed to 2026. It was revealed on the its website. Whilst Rockstar didn’t explain exactly what the main reason for the delay was it most likely is for further refinement to the game. This easily explains why we haven’t heard anything from the developers in over a year since the first trailer dropped. However, the announcement did come with some good news as we finally have a release date: May 26, 2026.

A colorful, bloody horror game that puts players on a deadly game show with only one goal: Survive.

Whether it be in on the big screen in movies such as Children of Men, to TV shows like The Walking Dead, there is no shortage of post-apocalyptic tales for people to digest. The realm of video-games is no stranger to this. A number of titles offer their own unique take on the genre with some even obtaining critical acclaim such as The Last of Us and Fallout.

There’s something about dystopian settings in stories that we find intriguing. Worlds that have a familiar feeling, but are much more darker and dangerous compared to our own. Video games have a few titles that take place in dystopian worlds. Classics such as BioShock, Half-Life 2 and Cyberpunk 2077 just to name a few, each giving their unique take on the genre. Karma: The Dark World is the latest game to try their hand at a dystopian world.

Since its inception in 2014, Hazelight Studios has been slowly dominating the co-op market. Led by the wildy eccentric Josef Fares, Hazelight’s games feature gameplay that encourages teamwork around every corner, incredibly engaging stories, and a plethora of variety in level design and mechanics. Its formula was introduced in its debut game A Way Out, but it was their next game It Takes Two that shot Hazelight into the limelight.

We’re currently in a generation where it’s possible for long forgotten franchises to come back from the dead. Franchises such as Dead Rising, Metroid Prime, and Dead Space just to name a few, have been given new life in the form of a remaster or a full-blown remake. However, whereas titles like those are deserving of more entries, there are some franchises that many believe have ran their course and should be allowed to rest.

Ubisoft have been taking hit after hit since last year. Star Wars Outlaws and Skull and Bones both underperformed, the company were accused of changing Japanese history for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, and their share prices have plummeted. It seems as if Ubisoft cannot catch a break, and now the latest news from them involves shuttering studios and dismissing employees. In a statement to Eurogamer, a Ubisoft spokesperson confirmed that multiple Ubisoft branches have been affected by layoffs.

Games are crafted by teams of all shapes and sizes. AAA games have hundreds of staff in different departments, whereas indie games will have a small team or in some cases one single developer. Indie studio Yummy Games are a team of only four people, and after a long development process it’s finally managed to release its debut game: Project Tower. A beautiful, third person shooter where you solve puzzles and fight a plethora of strange, alien enemies.
