Today, I found myself seated in front of a panel, interviewing for a position at a suicide crisis line. It's been a few years since my last job interview, and I felt a bit rusty. As someone who has navigated mental illness personally, the desire to work in this field is deeply personal. Yet, despite my passion and relevant experience, the interview process was challenging, and I left feeling socially awkward and somewhat dissatisfied with my performance.
