It did not disclose financial terms of the renewal, however, the original deal was reportedly worth between $40 million and $50 million over three years.     Tennessee sports betting regulators are ordering offshore sportsbook BetOnline to stop taking bets in the state, the latest in a growing national effort to curb illegal gambling. The Sports Wagering Council issued a cease and desist letter to the Panama-based sportsbook on Tuesday, giving it until June 16 to withdraw from Tennessee. The website does not have a TN sports betting license and does not pay the state’s required taxes or licensing fees.

    Caesars is donating $200,000 to the International Center for Responsible Gaming to support problem gambling research and education, the nonprofit announced Tuesday. The majority of the funding, $180,000, will go toward competitive research grants and initiatives that study the biological and psychological factors driving gambling behavior, mental health correlations, and the effects of public policy, according to a press release.
