Leander City Council on March 6 approved a $19,968,518 contract with Joe Bland Construction for the last round of infrastructure projects to increase water flow to the city from the Brushy Creek Regional Utility Authority. The contract provides for the replacement of the city’s Bagdad Terminus Pump Station as well as the replacement of the 750,000-gallon steel water tank with a 1.5 million gallon concrete tank, according to agenda documents.
