More than 1,000 children from school years 2 to 10, will come together at the NSC tomorrow for the 2025 Manx Youth Games. A dedicated multi-sport offering also ensures children with additional needs are part of the action. Children will each represent their region and receive a water bottle on the day, thanks to sponsors Sporting Club, as the event continues to use eco-friendly solutions where possible.

A record number of smokers have become quit smoking over the last year, according to government figures. On average, 18 people per month have quit smoking during the past year. Between April 1 2024 and March 31 2025, 215 out of 314 clients who set a quit date with the Isle of Man Stop Smoking Service successfully stopped smoking, a 69% success rate for the service provided by Public Health Isle of Man. Latest statistics reveal Island quit rates surpass the UK’s last recorded success rate of 54%.

Rebecca House has thanked Lets Play and several island football clubs who come together to raise money for the charity. In total £4,691.90 was raised by Lets Play, run by James McStay and clubs including Onchan, Rushen, Corinthians and Peel. The money was raised through a charity event in March and will go to support the families and children the charity cares for.
