If you're anything like me, you sat through the Donkey Kong Bananza Direct wondering: Where on earth is Diddy Kong? The little primate was unceremoniously dumped out of Mario Kart World, despite dozens of other weird and wonderful characters appearing, so the longer he didn't appear in the Direct, the more it felt like Diddy Kong erasure was happening before our eyes.

Last month, I excitedly previewed Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army, a remake of the 2006 PS2 title, Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. the Soulless Army. It was another Atlus title with all the hallmarks of what I loved about the company’s titles, but in an unfamiliar setting. Unfortunately, however, I came away from my short time with the game with more concerns than excitement.

Remedy's games have always represented the highest quality. It took just another 48 hours for developers Shift Up to confirm the game had sold over a million copies.
