I decided to try out my new Lamy fountain pen. It reminds me of the coveted calligraphy set with interchangeable colored ink given to me in sixth grade that I adored. I bought the fountain pen after getting a gift card for filling out a paper survey that took hours. It was an actual packet that I hauled around the airport for multiple flights, half-cursing all of the time it took. But nothing gets between me and a $75 Amazon gift card. Hence the new fountain pen.

I have zero problems putting aside a book I’m not loving (why you should read books you hate), but August was a great reading month. Four highly-recommended books for you…YOU COULD MAKE THIS PLACE BEAUTIFUL by Maggie Smith. Ann Patchett blurbed, “This books is extraordinary.” I concur, as evidenced by the many dog-eared pages. It’s both sad (divorce) and terribly hopeful (love, children, writing).

Founded by Inclusive Employers, National Inclusion Week (NIW) is a week dedicated to celebrating inclusion and taking action to create inclusive workplaces. The playground was officially opened by outgoing chair of the parish council, Jan Lucas. He was joined by representatives from FCC Communities Fund who provided £95,000, and Segro who also contributed funds, along with Bubbenhall Parish Council. A spokesperson for Bubbenhall Parish Council said: "HAGS playground specialists designed a new fun, vibrant facility with something for all ages including an assault course, new zip line and an aerial roundabout.
