This is despite the majority of land immediately adjacent to the council’s train stations – Ku-ring-gai Council has four stations identified by the government’s new transport-oriented density program including Roseville, Lindfield, Killara and Gordon – already being heritage listed or heritage conservation areas. Local planning maps of the area now show the bulk of land surrounding each of its stations is off-limits for higher density.
