I'm pretty promiscuous when it comes to beauty trends - I've tried them all. Heavy highlighting, sharp contouring, big brows, you name it, I have the embarrassing pictures to prove it. While my OTT sculpting and baking days are most definitely behind me, one trend that has endured - and that I still can't get enough of - is a 90s supermodel lip look.

It takes time for me to really fall for a skincare product. Make-up often has me at hello - I can be head over heels for a new lipstick shade on application, or converted to the new 'it' mascara in a matter of swipes. When it comes to skincare, it's usually weeks, if not months before I decide if the product in question really is all that. There's an exception to this rule though -Tatcha's The Dewy Skin Cream, £67. I love this moisturiser instantly.

My skincare routine is what I'd call the bare minimum. Yes, I'm a beauty journalist exposed to a plethora of products, but over the years I've learnt that my acne-prone temperamental skin type works best when I keep things simple. That means my daily routine consists of nothing more than a cleanser, moisturiser, and SPF50. Yes, I may flirt with a treatment – like an at-home mask, peel or toner pads, once or twice a week to tackle breakouts – but most of the time I stick to a stripped back approach.

With celebrity fans including Keira Knightley and Lupita Nyong'o, this product is set to become a classic. As a self-proclaimed make-up junkie who has tried her fair share of products and dabbled in a few too many beauty trends, I'll be the first to tell you that less is more. My minimalist approach to make-up is perhaps most felt in my recent conversion to tinted moisturisers.
