Jamie Leventhal joins The Times as a video journalist on the Daily Video Team in New York, and will produce video packages and livestreams, and edit videos for social media. Jamie comes to us from The Wall Street Journal, where she produced and edited videos covering a range of news topics, including business and technology. While at The Journal, she created and hosted a YouTube subchannel, which focused on engineering, supply chain and logistics.

We are excited to welcome Aritz Parra, McKinnon de Kuyper and Theodore Tae to the Video desk. Aritz will be based in London, and McKinnon and Theodore will be based in New York. Aritz Parra is joining as a senior producer based in London. In this newly created role, he will oversee a cross-desk team that produces daily news videos, Reporter Video, Visual Investigations and originally reported field video.
