Wherever we look — to the East, the West, or in our own countries, people seem to have lost a sense of compassion, caring, and treating others equally. Trade wars, tariffs, embargoes, dictators, people in charge who seem to be out of control. These are just some of the negative channels in our world. In addition, because of our mismanagement, Nature is suffering. Soils are degrading, and feeding the world feels impossible.

Imagine. The world has self-destructed. Armageddon has happened. Even though people were asking the powerful to think, the bullies to rein in their power, and those who have everything to share, they didn’t listen. I have worked as a freelancer for an organisation for over a decade. I get work three or four times a year, and it involves attending meetings, traveling, staying in a hotel, writing reports, and moderating results. It is work I enjoy. Recently, new management has taken over. The last management team was suddenly dismissed, and all of us lowly folk were told to attend an online meeting where the way ahead would be discussed. If we had any questions, we should submit them before the meeting.
