The majority of parents believe that their own childhood was better than their children’s, as it is revealed that just 25 per cent of children play with another person every day. A major new survey by the NSPCC has found that 55 per cent of parents with children under 18 believe they had “better childhood experiences” than their offspring. A further 54 per cent thought their childhood was easier and 63 per cent said it was safer than that of their children.

Half of incels live with their parents or grandparents and a quarter would probably receive a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder, a study into members of the misogynistic subculture has found. The study also found that the incels surveyed positioned themselves slightly left of centre politically, challenging the common assumption that they are predominantly aligned with far-right ideologies.
