    Law enforcement officers captured Louisiana fugitive Antoine Massey at a residence in New Orleans on Friday, June 27. He was taken into custody without resistance, according to reports. Detectives and agents with the Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations, Department of Homeland Security, FBI, and other agencies worked closely to locate and arrest Massey. Massey, 33, was among 10 inmates who escaped from the Orleans Parish Correctional Facility on May 16, 2025.

Shanteari Young was released from prison on Tuesday after serving 3 years of a 4-year sentence for shooting James Weems, Jr., a retired Baltimore police officer. After leaving prison, Young moved to a halfway house in Washington, D.C. Her sentence officially ends in December 2025. Young told CBS News she is looking forward to rebuilding her life and she thanked her supporters.

    Uber Eats’ delivery robots are delivering food in the Atlanta area. Uber Eats has partnered with Serve Robotics, and customers can now opt to have their food delivered by robots. The service launched on Thursday in Downtown Atlanta, Midtown and Old Fourth Ward – with plans to expand to Buckhead in the near future. Customers can order food to be delivered by robots from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Sunday. Robots will wait 10 minutes at the front door.
