The President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Mazi Afam Osigwe (SAN), on Monday urged lawyers to do more to reflect the ideals of the legal profession to promote the integrity of legal practice. Osigwe made this known at the opening of the 2025 Annual Law Week of the NBA, Lagos Branch. The week had the theme: “Re-imagining the Practice of Law: Ethics, Innovation and the Future of Legal Services: Let’s Be Lawyers Again”.

A Lagos-based lawyer, Mr Ogedi Ogu, on Tuesday prayed a Federal High Court in Lagos, to issue an order restraining the police from further arresting and detaining his client, Mr Vincent Uba, over tenancy matters.
