In a shocking incident, a 46-year-old air hostess was allegedly raped in a well-known private hospital by a staff member while she was on a ventilator in the ICU. An FIR has been registered at Sadar police station. According to a complaint filed by the air hostess, in the presence of a legal adviser, she was staying in a Gurugram hotel for training, when she nearly drowned in its swimming pool and was rushed to a private hospital.

A gym trainer and his accomplices have been booked for allegedly assaulting the sons of BJP MLA Harendra Singh Ramratan from Hodal in Faridabad. The younger son of the MLA was assaulted, and when he called his elder brother, the accused beat him up, too. It is claimed that casteist words were also used against them. An FIR has been registered at Metro police station.

A severe thunderstorm hit Gurugram at around 6.30 pm on Friday evening, leading to road accidents, and the falling of trees and electric poles in various areas. In one such incident, a big signage pillar on the Dwarka Expressway fell on to moving traffic. A car got stuck under the pillar, causing two occupants of the car to be seriously injured. Passers-by stopped their cars and rescued the victims, admitting them to a hospital. The incident caused a traffic jam on Dwarka Expressway.

Four policemen of Sector 18 police station have been arrested for allegedly extorting money from a 'paratha' and cigarette cart vendor. They were sent to judicial custody after being produced in a city court. For months, the accused policemen extorted money and got it deposited in their accounts by the vendor. Frustrated, the victim installed a camera in his hut, which captured the images of the cops while extorting money.
