“Love Island USA” season 7 contestant Yulissa Escobar abruptly left the villa during the Wednesday, June 4, episode of the reality dating series. The past four seasons have all premiered in July or August, and the upcoming installment will be no different. “Big Brother 27” is set to premiere on Thursday, July 10.

Netflix is one of the streaming platforms credited with the rise of binge-watching, so why does it seem to be moving away from releasing full seasons all at once? Two of the most highly anticipated Netflix releases of the year — season 2 of “Wednesday” and season 5 of “Stranger Things” — will be released in separate parts. Four episodes of “Wednesday” are set to premiere on August 6, and the final episodes will hit the streamer on September 3.
