That's when the statewide minimum wage will hit 15-dollars-13-cents an hour, up a dollar from 2023. Phil Murphy had pledged to work with lawmakers to implement a 15-dollar-an hour minimum while first campaigning for Governor. When he took office in 2018, New Jersey's minimum wage was just eight-sixty an hour.
