The extraordinary demand for a chocolate bar that went viral on TikTok has been blamed for a global shortage of pistachios. Dubai chocolate, which is filled with crispy knafeh, pistachio cream and tahini spread, was launched in 2021 by Dubai-based firm, Fix Dessert Chocolatier. But the sweet treat really took off after food influencer Maria Vehera shared a TikTok video of herself sampling it. The video picked up more than 120 million views and suddenly everyone wanted a bite.

A statue of the Virgin Mary was filmed weeping two days before the Pope's death, it's been claimed. Footage, filmed at a church service in Columbia on Good Friday, shows the statue with tears running down her face, say witnesses. The video was shared on social media and quickly went viral, with many claiming it was a miracle. It was recorded during a Sermon of the Seven Words at St John Eudes Parish, in Aguas Claras, in the department of Norte de Santander.

The canonization of a British Italian teenager as the first millennial saint has been postponed due to the Pope's death. Carlo Acutis, who died of acute leukemia in 2006 when he was 15, created a website cataloguing more than 100 eucharistic miracles recognised by the Catholic church. He started the site in 2004 and worked on it for two and a half years, involving much of his family in the project. It was unveiled just days before he passed away.

A ' fighting dog ' ran from its drunk owner and viciously attacked a four-year-old boy. Joel Bapaga 'stood by and did nothing' when the Cane Corso pounced on the youngster, a court heard. Shortly before the assault, the 49-year-old had been stumbling down the road in Newtown, Birmingham with his dog off the lead. The animal spotted the child, who was playing with a ball in his front garden, sprinted over and bit him several times.
