Cindy Ramos-Davidson, the longtime chief executive of the El Paso Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, is stepping down. The chamber announced Ramos-Davidson’s departure in a news release Friday, saying she has pancreatic cancer. “I would like to thank the many businesses that I have had the honor of connecting with over the years locally, statewide and nationally. I wish you all the very best!” Ramos-Davidson said in a news release.

The two were videoed in, and Milliken said the University of Texas at El Paso will be a national leader in aerospace and advanced manufacturing.

The El Paso County Medical Society will spend the next year continuing its mission that started 127 years ago. The medical society, based at the historic Turner home on Montana, has grown to represent about 800 El Paso County physicians, medical students and residents. In February, Dr. Sarah Walker began her tenure as president. “It’s really neat to have everybody’s perspective about issues and concerns they have about medicine,” Walker said.
