The current status quo in forest restoration research publications does not emphasize a thorough consideration of how climate change may impact the success or efficacy of forest restoration. More research is needed to quantify how climate change impacts are being considered in actual restoration practice, little of which is currently documented.

Dear Editor,I write in response to Jacklin Kwan’s article (1), which provides a robust and much-needed explanation of how private biobanks may be misleading parents about the value of banking a baby’s blood, and to Stephen P Hibbs’ (2) Rapid Response. It is important to remember that cord blood donation - which may be more accurately termed ‘baby’s blood donation’ – can also prevent babies from experiencing the significant benefits of delayed (or optimal) cord clamping.
