RUMSON, NJ — Authorities are investigating after a boat crashed into the Rumson-Sea Bright Bridge on Friday evening, an NJ State Police spokesperson told Patch. Troopers responded to the accident at 7:39 p.m. on Friday at the bridge in Monmouth Beach Borough, the spokesperson said. Based on a preliminary investigation, NJ State Police said a 56-foot vessel lost directional control and impacted the bridge. No injuries were reported.
