Sarah Aziza and her new book 'The Hollow Half'. Credit : Natasha Jahchan; Courtesy of Catapult The first time I sold my story, it was for $40 and a tweet. My father glimpsed the rubble of ʿIbdis once before, when he was able to cross over from the Gaza Strip with his mother in the 1970s. However, ongoing erasure threatens even these remains.
