ABSTRACTIntroduction Most patients with breast cancer have early-stage hormone receptor (HR)-positive, human epidermal growth factor receptor-2 (HER2)-negative disease. Even though the prognosis for most of these patients is good, there is a need to identify patients at risk for poor outcomes and to develop strategies to mitigate this risk.

The Jefferson County Soil and Water Conservation District, which has worked to make Jefferson County sustainable since 1944, has been woefully undervalued by the Mayor’s office and is essentially defunded in the latest budget proposal. The Conservation District was created to protect and improve our county’s renewable natural resources of soil, water, woodland and wildlife.
