A new study found that a 4:3 intermittent fasting plan—with three days of fasting per week—helped people lose more weight than daily calorie counting. The fasting group simply consumed fewer calories overall than the calorie-counting group, leading to greater weight loss. Mine is Creamy Parmesan Salmon: mix 1 part grated parm w/2 parts mayo, add to salmon fillets, top with chives. Bake at 425 for 18-20 minutes. I know it sounds weird, but TRUST ME, it's delicious. Been making it for 20 yrs and my husband & teens love it.

This was a fascinating article to research and write! Did you know that the 10,000 step goal is, like, totally arbitrary? Health benefits begin around 2,500 steps per day. Check out my latest for @Shape_Magazine: https://t.co/veH4g2Od9l
