With hugs, claps, and cheers, 565 Highland Park High School seniors crossed the stage and received diplomas during their graduation ceremony on May 23 at Moody Coliseum. The Highlander Band has announced new leaders for the 2025-26 school year. The band’s drum majors will be seniors Mitch Dauphinais, Kaden Rice (head drum major), and Ian Hyde. The Highlander Band supports Highland Park athletes at football games and pep rallies. Band members have a chance to shine themselves at marching contests, solo and ensemble competitions, and concerts, as well as through membership in the color guard, drumline, and honor and jazz bands.
