KUCHING — In a visit aimed to foster goodwill and strengthen interfaith relations, a delegation from the Sarawak Islamic Information Centre (SIIC) paid a courtesy call on Catholic Archbishop Dato Dr Simon Poh at his office at ACCPC on 19 December 2024. Led by Acting Chief Executive Officer Tazudin Mohtar, the delegation included officers from SIIC and the Sarawak Islamic Council (MIS). They also came bearing festive gifts.

In a statement on Dec. 4, the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Korea (CBCK) denounced Yoon’s imposition of martial law on Dec. 3 and urged him to apologize to the people.
