Jack Woodman abused Crystal Taffs over a period of five yearsA Bristol man who appeared on Channel 4's 'Bodyshockers' has been jailed for two-and-a-half years after a five-year campaign of abuse and brutal attacks on his girlfriend, a court heard. Jack Woodman, 33, attacked Crystal Taffs on three separate occasions, in front of their two children. He pulled out a clump of her hair and threatened to burn her with a pair of straighteners, a jury was told during a trial at Bristol Crown Court.

Police are searching for a gang of youths who broke into a property near Glastonbury and caused property damage in a common room. The incident occurred last Friday, April 11, at around 7.30pm, when the six youngsters broke into the residential complex in Meare. It is believed to be an isolated incident. Officers have been conducting reassurance patrols in the area, and have spoken to all residents at the property. They have also carried out house-to-house and CCTV enquiries in the nearby area.

Police are now seeking to identify the man after the theft last monthA man who stole a games console and bank cards from a property in Horfield was caught on camera, and now police are trying to identify him. The burglary took place last month, sometime overnight between March 11 and 12, at a flat on Filton Avenue in Horfield. The homeowner was not home at the time, and later alerted police after unauthorised transactions appeared on their account.
