Billy Joel broke the news today that he is being forced to cancel all scheduled concerts because of a recent diagnosis of Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (NPH). The announcement notes that the brain disorder, in which excess cerebrospinal fluid accumulates in the brain, has been “exacerbated by recent concert performances, leading to problems with hearing, vision, and balance.” The affected tour dates included performances with Stevie Nicks, Sting and Rod Stewart.

Metallica is taking its “M72 World Tour” into 2026 with today’s announcement featuring a return to Europe next spring and summer including some cities the band hasn’t been to yet. The band will be joined by Pantera, Gojira, Knocked Loose and Avatar on select dates. Today’s announcement explains that the 2026 “production will feature the same unique stadium production at mid-field in-the-round, with the Snake Pit in the center of the stage providing a complete 360° view of the show.

Independent Artist Group has promoted veteran rock agent Nick Storch to the role of Head of Global Artist Development as the company continues celebrating the growth of its music division. Storch is the longtime agent for Ghost and Sleep Token, among other major touring acts. He also works alongside Spiritbox, Sabaton and Frank Turner as well as co -representing Disturbed and Limp Bizkit. In April Storch signed progressive technical death metal band Gojira, for global representation.
