A new CBS News poll conducted in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin found that Biden and Trump are virtually tied in voters’ preferences for president within these states. A new NBC News poll revealed that interest in the upcoming election has dipped to its lowest level in nearly two decades, with only 64 percent of registered voters having a high level of interest in November’s election. The poll results indicate a decline compared to previous NBC News polls conducted at this time in the 2008 (74 percent), 2012 (67 percent), 2016 (69 percent), and 2020 (77 percent) presidential elections.

March marked the 10th month in a row in which Earth experienced record-high temperatures, according to the European Union’s climate agency Copernicus. Both the air and ocean temperatures reached their highest levels ever recorded for the month. The average global temperature reached 14.14°C (57.9°F) over the month. This surpassed the previous record set in 2016 by a tenth of a degree, Copernicus reported.
