A golf club is set to install 114 solar panels on its clubhouse roof. The plans for Gloucester Golf Club, an 18 hole par 70 course on Matson Lane, were given approval by Gloucester City Council. The club is set to install a photovoltaic system of up to 50.73 kWp on the south face of the clubhouse roof, made up of 114 TRINA Vertex S 425 PV panels. TRINA Vertex S 425 PV panels are described by the manufacturer as 'small in size, big on power' and can generate up to 425W of electricity.

A Tewkesbury primary school has been given a £6,000 donation from a local housebuilder. Charles Church South Midlands has supported Ashchurch Primary School with the cash boost as part of its Community Champions initiative. The funds will help the school to buy Chromebooks and support its sensory garden projects. The Secretary of State for Transport has granted development consent for the M5 Junction 10 Improvements Scheme. The approved scheme will see the construction of a new all-movements junction at Junction 10, which will provide access in all directions on and off the motorway.
