In the ever-evolving landscape of beauty and wellness, a notable shift has emerged from the traditional pursuit of decreasing the appearance of skin aging toward a more holistic approach centered around rebuilding skin health (Figure 1). This transition marks a pivotal moment in aesthetic philosophy, in which we move from treating the symptoms to treating the causes of skin aging with the goal of slowing down or reversing skin aging.
