The staff for the upcoming anime adaptation of A Gatherer’s Adventure in Isekai has announced that it will air in October 2025. They have also confirmed the composer for the series. Hiroshi Takaki, known for his work on the Precure and Butt Detective franchises, will compose the music for the anime. The rest of the staff includes Yoshinori Odaka as the director, Gigaemon Ichikawa, whose in charge of series’ scripts, Mayumi Watanabe as the character designer, and GENCO as the producer.

Amazon has announced that Fallout Season 2 will air in December 2025 on the Prime Video streaming service. Additionally, it has also officially greenlit season 3 for the beloved series. Recently, the official Twitter/X account for the series confirmed that season 2 had finished filming. While fans initially speculated that Fallout season 2 would air in 2026, we now know that it will premiere in December of this year. Amazon will likely confirm more details about the second season’s story soon.

Remedy Entertainment has announced that a closed technical test for FBC: Firebreak will take place from May 15 to May 19. Limited sign-ups for the technical test are available via Remedy’s official website. The closed technical test for FBC: Firebreak will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Remedy has not yet confirmed the contents of the upcoming test, or whether there will be a full beta in the weeks leading up to its launch on June 17.

In a new set of posts on the Nintendo Today app, Nintendo revealed several new features for the Nintendo Switch 2. The app showcases the ability to lock the console with a PIN, prevent the console from charging further once it reaches 90%, and use the Joy-Con 2 mouse to navigate the HOME menu. In system settings, you can enable a PIN that locks the console to prevent any unauthorized use. If you choose this setting, you will need to enter your PIN when you wake up the console from sleep mode.

NEXON has announced that The First Descendant will soon have a collaboration with NieR: Automata. It also revealed new upcoming updates that will release in Summer for the free-to-play game. The upcoming collaboration for The First Descendant will feature cosmetics based on A2 and 2B from NieR: Automata. It will mostly focus on “decorations,” however, there will also be a skin for 2B without her skirt, similar to her battle damaged design from the original game.

8BitMods has announced the VMU Pro, a new type of VMU (Virtual Memory Unit) for the SEGA Dreamcast. Pre-orders will open on May 15. 8BitMods has previously released other accessories for retro consoles such as the GameCube and PlayStation 2. Its new VMU Pro will feature backwards compatibility with other VMs and “unlimited storage.” It will also allow for emulation of Game Boy Color, NES, and SEGA Master System games on its display. Pre-orders will be available via the 8BitMods website.
