    Coronation Street actress Barbara Ferris has passed away at the age of 85. The star - whose career spanned several decades - was best known for her role as barmaid Nona Willis in 1961. She featured in 10 episodes of the iconic soap but left due to difficulties with the Lancastrian accent. Film buffs may remember her from the 1965 movie Catch Us If You Can, where she played Dinah opposite Dave Clark, and from her appearance in the 1990 film The Krays.
