In recent incident of violent assault on a young man in Karachi’s Defence area, Khayaban-e-Ittehad, police have arrested another suspect, Owais Hashmi, in connection with the case. He was identified through the video footage actively assaulting the victim. The main accused, Salman Farooqi, along with his security guard and driver, who was also taken into custody. Salman Farooqi reportedly brutally attacked the young man after the victim’s motorcycle accidentally collided with Farooqi’s car.
