I guess it took me 29 years to realize that my biggest heartbreak is never feeling good enough of a daughter to my mom. And that it has created insecurities in me that make me cling to emotionally unavailable men in my romantic relationships.

It’s actually funny how gatekeepy the girlies in media are. I genuinely try to support everyone but that’s over with. I’ve seen how performative and selective y’all are with support. Only congrats to the ones you feel like can do something for you or fit a certain aesthetic.
