Those who want to brave a journey through Kanto in 2025 should avoid using these Gen 1 Pokémon on their team through the single-player mode, as they’re going to struggle to become the Champion with these ‘Mons. To clarify: there’s no such thing as a truly bad Pokémon. As many Let’s Play videos have proven, it’s possible to complete the game using a single Pokémon.
