SaskPower is sending out its plans to inspect almost 120,000 wood power poles between May and October as part of its annual maintenance program. An Estevan organization will look to make a seasonal attraction a permanent fixture of a local park, and is looking for support from the City of Estevan to do it. The Estevan Lions Club has, after gathering a good amount of money on their own, asked the City of Estevan to pitch in money to make the rink boards at Rusty Duce Park a permanent feature. The new, permanent rink will be the same size as the old replaceable one, with the new rink being installed by Athletic Sport Systems.
