The Dutch women will be without two of their stars at the upcoming European Artistic Gymnastics Championships, set for 26–31 May in Leipzig, Germany. Two-time Olympian Eythora Thorsdottir, who is returning to the sport after missing the Olympic Games Paris 2024 due to injury, posted on Instagram this week that a “minor tear” in her calf will keep her out of competition. “It’s nothing major, but just bad timing which makes it impossible to make it to the European Championships,” she wrote.
