Rain will be with us Sunday evening then more showers could pop up overnight followed by a potentially dry start to Monday. It won't remain dry Monday as showers pop up followed by late-day storms with locally heavy downpours. The valley may see some early morning rain showers Tuesday with chill temps only in the low 50s with a chilly breeze. Drier weather will increase on Wednesday but temperatures will be slow to warm with highs only in the mid-50s.

By Clouds were dominant on Sunday with a few light showers but milder weather will continue to stream northward into Idaho this week. The clouds will thin out on Monday in the valley with temperatures soaring to near 70 degrees! The heat will continue as high pressure builds into the northwest. The warmest day will be Wednesday followed by more seasonable weather for the second half of the week.

Thunderstorms have been developing and moving from south-southwest to north-northeast. These storms are likely to strengthen into the evening with possible severe storms forming. Severe storms carry either wind greater than 57 mph or large hail of 1" in diameter. Today's storms are have a wind threat with some hail along with brief very heavy downpours that could cause some localized street flooding.
