No Man’s Sky continues its ever-evolving journey of free updates today with Beacon, but that’s just part of the good news about the space exploration game. Developer Hello Games also confirmed a free update is coming to enhance the existing game on Nintendo Switch for the Nintendo Switch 2 version, and it drops alongside the new console tomorrow, June 5. “For the last year we’ve had this secret room with some Switch 2 dev-kits from Nintendo,” the dev said.

Elden Ring: Nightreign brings co-op multiplayer to the forefront of From Software’s hardcore PvE experience, but you don’t have to play with friends. In fact, you don’t have to play with anyone at all. There is indeed an option to play solo in Nightreign, but you have to fiddle with some in-game menus to figure out how to get there. It’s a simple task, and once you know how to do it, you’ll be reigning your nights alone.

2025’s massive month of gaming news ahead of Summer Game Fest and other presentations like it began in earnest today with Epic Games’ State of Unreal event, and it brought the big guns. CD Projekt Red was on hand to show off some footage of The Witcher 4, and dang, it’s looking pretty unreal. Devs took the stage to show off what basically amounted to be a playable tech demo, but it’s enough to get real excited about.
