• None The IRCC Diwali Festival of Lights, one of South Florida's largest ethnic cultural events, took place Saturday, Nov. 16, at the Broward Convention Center. The festival featured Indian music and dance performances, including high school and collegiate competitions. Attendees enjoyed Indian cuisine, shopped for clothing and jewelry, and could get henna tattoos.

The Jewish community of Broward County gathered at the David Posnack Jewish Community Center on Sunday, October 6, 2024 to commemorate one year since the attacks on Israel. The event, titled "An Afternoon of Remembrance, Resilience and Hope," paid tribute to the Israeli hostages, both those who survived and those who tragically lost their lives. The gathering honored the courage of those affected by the attacks and reinforced the bonds within the Broward community.
