There is something weirdly serene and almost holy about experiencing the death of someone you love dearly this intensely and this close. I don’t know any other way to describe it, but it changed me in ways I’m only beginning to fathom. The mind wanders during such ordeals, especially in the quiet moments before and after. We all have to die, but not everyone gets a good death. If there even is such a thing, it’s all up to interpretation.

Arguably the most important campaign promise made by President Donald Trump while he was running for the presidency all three times was to carry out the mass deportation of illegal immigrants currently living in the United States. In terms of the ability to preserve the historic makeup of this country, and by extension the standard of living and freedoms we’ve enjoyed for the past 250 years, it’s hard to think of another issue that’s more important. But it goes even deeper than that.

We all have to die, but not everyone gets a good death. If there even is such a thing, it’s all up to interpretation. Some would call dying bravely in battle the best ‘good death,’ or religious martyrdom, or a death that somehow furthers an important cause. Others may prefer dying in their sleep, never feeling pain or even knowing they were sick. Underlying it all are the unsaid words that will never be heard by the deceased, the amends that will never be made, the love that will never be expressed.

People calling Tucker Carlson fake, disingenuous, or a grifter are flat wrong. The man was the most influential conservative media figure since Rush Limbaugh, even after leaving Fox News. He is rich beyond his wildest dreams. He is the literal posterchild of having 'eff-you'

As the owner of a small business that would benefit A LOT from hiring illegals, yet insisted on doing things the legal, albeit harder way, I am personally offended by President Trump's decision to give these big companies a pass just because they whined about it.
