That Kasparas Jakucionis and Will Riley will be selected in the first round of the 2025 NBA Draft tonight in Brooklyn, N.Y., doesn't appear to be in question. Where the pair of former Illinois standouts get drafted, however, is to be determined. It's all part of the draft night intrigue. A pair of first-round selections, regardless of pick number or destination, is certainly a positive for Illinois as a program. "It's a source of achievement," Illinois coach Brad Underwood said.
