    SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — A strong but slow moving system that has been producing numerous rounds of severe storms across the country will impact the Coastal Empire and Lowcountry on Monday. Local Timing & ImpactsHeavy rain and gusty conditions are expected to be our primary concern. Sustained wind will be over 20 mph. Wind gusts in any severe storms that develop may be over 50 mph. There is a also low-end risk for isolated tornadoes to develop. The tornado risk is low, just not zero.

As of Monday evening, the main low pressure center that we are watching is located over easter Colorado and the trailing cold font extends southward through West Texas.
