Rick Pitino and the St. John’s basketball team lost guard Simeon Wilcher to the college basketball transfer portal in a surprising move on Friday. Wilcher has had a couple of promising seasons with the Red Storm, and he was especially impressive this past year. Wilcher didn’t get a lot of playing time as a freshman, but he averaged 8.0 points per game this season while starting in 25 games for the Red Storm. Now, he is looking for a new home in the transfer portal.

The 2025 NFL Draft is less than one week away as it will get started on April 24th. This year’s draft class is an intriguing one as it doesn’t really feature a clear #1 pick or a clear standout quarterback. There are a lot of teams with early picks that need a QB, but this isn’t the best year to have that need. A few of the top QBs in the draft are Shedeur Sanders, Cam Ward and Jaxson Dart. The Giants need a QB, and they will likely select one of those three players.

The Chicago Bulls have now seen the Miami Heat end their season three years in a row. The two teams met up in the NBA play-in tournament once again on Wednesday night, and the Heat came out on top again. The Bulls were favored in the game, but Miami cruised to a 109-90 win. Another disappointing year is in the books for Chicago, and a lot of changes could be coming this offseason. Could one of them involve head coach Billy Donovan?

After another disappointing season, it’s clear that what the Chicago Bulls are doing right now isn’t working. The Bulls lost at home on Wednesday against the Miami Heat in the NBA play-in tournament, and the season is now over. This is the third straight year that the Bulls have lost in the play-in tournament, and they have been eliminated by the Heat each time. Chicago needs to make some roster moves, but they do have a couple of good core players like Coby White and Josh Giddey.

Another basketball season is in the books in the Windy City as the Chicago Bulls fell in the NBA play-in tournament on Wednesday against the Miami Heat. The Heat have now ended the Bulls’ season in the play-in tournament three years in a row. Chicago was favored on Wednesday as they were at home and beat the Heat relatively easily last week. Miami ended up winning 109-90, however, holding the Bulls under 100 points for the first time in over two months.
