At a press conference in Philadelphia, the city’s police revealed that they have identified the body of a boy found in a cardboard box in Philadelphia in 1957. The boy, who became known as the Boy in the Box, was identified on Thursday morning as Joseph Augustus Zarelli, who was born on Jan. 13, 1953.

There’s something I heard once at a country music concert stuck with me. Early on in the show, one of the singers said that there was “always something in a good country song that is a little bit sad.”That quote came to mind tonight at the Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit concert at Riverfront Park in Harrisburg. Isbell’s music might not be strictly country - in his own words, he views himself as “a guy with a rock band” - but his version of Americana/southern rock can hit in the same melancholy way.

YONKERS (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- An out-of-control driver fatally struck a 70-year-old woman, jumped a retaining wall and crashed into a house in Yonkers on Sunday evening, police said. The 54-year-old driver was headed north on North Broadway around 7 p.m. when she crossed the double yellow line, mowed down the pedestrian, launched over the 3-foot-high retaining wall and plowed into the front of the home at 693 North Broadway.
