It didn't take long for Easton Gross to pick up a baseball and glove. The Sun Prairie East junior started playing the sport at 6 years old and hasn't looked back since. It's the simple things that have kept Gross, who plays first base and pitcher for the Cardinals, coming back for more. "It's the guys and it's the fundamentals," he said. Gross, who also plays hockey, has helped Sun Prairie East to another dominant season this spring.

The University of Wisconsin women’s basketball team rounded out its roster for the 2025-26 season with an experienced international player. The Badgers signed Croatian national Dorja Iva Zaja Friday, the program announced on social media. The 6-foot-3 center is the second player for the class of 2025 but will only have three years of eligibility, having played professionally for Tresnjevka 2009 Zagreb in the Croatian First Women's Basketball League while retaining her amateur status.
