Julio Enciso is likely to leave Brighton and Hove Albion this summer, with Fabian Hurzeler deciding that he’s not a part of his plans. That’s according to journalist Christian Martin, speaking to Versus, who believes a transfer could reach £30-40m. Enciso has returned to Brighton this summer after returning from a loan spell at Ipswich Town in the second half of last season. He joined Kieran McKenna’s side in the search of regular playing time that wasn’t on offer at Brighton.

Chelsea have held new and positive negotiations with Borussia Dortmund over Jamie Gittens in the last few hours. That’s according to journalist Florian Plettenberg, who reports that Dortmund’s negotiations were led by director of football Sebastian Kehl. According to the journalist, however, there is still no agreement or final decision on Gittens’ future. Dortmund are continuing to demand €65m for the 20-year-old winger.

Everton are confident of completing a deal for Villarreal striker Thierno Barry in the next couple of days. That’s according to Foot Mercato, who report that Everton are working to close a deal for the 22-year-old as quickly as they can. FM report that Everton are looking to negotiate with Villarreal so they can bring Barry’s current release clause, which is valued at €40m, downwards. They’ve already seen an offer rejected by the Spanish side.

Enso Gonzalez is set to stay at Wolverhampton Wanderers this summer as both the club and he believe they have a mutual debt to each other. That’s according to journalist Christian Martin, speaking to Versus, who says the 20-year-old will be staying at Wolves this summer. Gonzalez has been at Molineux since a €6m move from Libertad in Paraguay in August 2023 but has barely featured for the club since then.

Ramón Sosa is close to leaving Nottingham Forest and almost has everything finalised with Brazilian side Palmeiras. That’s according to Versus and journalist Christian Martin, who report that the Nottingham Forest winger is increasingly close to joining Palmeiras. They have long wanted the 25-year-old and now have practically everything finalised to sign him this summer. Sosa is yet to sign any deal with them, though, and that is the most important aspect.
