    Munster Rugby are pleased to confirm that this Friday’s ‘A’ Interprovincial clash between Munster ‘A’ and Connacht Eagles will be live streamed on Access Munster. The match kicks off in CBC’s rugby grounds at Lansdowne at 3pm on Friday, May 16th with live commentary from John Keogh. This follows last week’s win over Connacht Eagles at Creggs RFC where Munster ‘A’ secured a 45-14 win.

    The Munster squad have started preparations at the HPC ahead of Friday’s URC Round 18 clash against Benetton at Virgin Media Park. The game kicks off at 8pm with the match now sold-out. On the injury front, Diarmuid Barron (shoulder injury) and Oli Jager (head injury) are unavailable for selection this week. Tom Ahern, Stephen Archer, John Hodnett, Conor Murray, Peter O’Mahony and Josh Wycherley returned to action against Ulster and came through the game with no issues.

    Munster Rugby and the IRFU are pleased to confirm that Andrew Smith has signed a one-year contract with the province for the 2025/26 season. Smith joined Munster on a short-term loan in March and made an immediate impact, scoring three tries in four appearances. He was a try-scorer in the Champions Cup round of 16 win against La Rochelle and dotted down twice away to Bordeaux-Begles in the quarter-final defeat a week later.
